THE SCRIPTURES ARE WRONG! BY STEVE FINNELL
The majority of men today trust their own views more than Scripture.
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;(NASB)
Most believers in Christ think that the views they have formed by reading Bible commentaries, listening to preachers, and studying church creed books, makes theirs views superior to the Scriptures.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.(NASB)
GOD SAID: 1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and and doctrines of demons, (NASB)
SOME MEN SAY: I do not care what God says, John Calvin said "Once in grace always in grace." I trust John Calvin and my own view.
Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.(NASB)
GOD SAID: Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved...(NASB)
SOME MEN SAY: I do not care what God said, my Bible college professor said "He who has believed is saved already and should be immersed in water as a testimony of faith."

SOME MEN SAY: There are other ways to salvation, Jesus is just one of many.
Only 33% of those living in the U.S.A believe that the Bible is an accurate account of God's word. The real problem is, even many who claim to believe the Bible is God's word deny the clear teaching of Scripture.
The big question is, why do men trust preachers, priests, elders, Bible commentaries, college professors, books about the Bible, their friends, relatives and their denominational creed books more than they trust the Scriptures?
