I don't know why I am surprised at what happened Friday in the House Judiciary Committee being televised live on C-Span, but I am shocked and outraged! The hearing was being conducted on, of all things, the Patriot Act. To shut off mics on people trying to talk is outrageous...especially in the Congress. I have never heard of anything like this before. Read the article or go to C-Span and view the video.
