My friend's dog, Ted E Bear, formerly known as Ansar. Not a good choice for a name she discovered. He was being trained as a companion dog but had a bit of a stubborn streak. I think he just wanted to be a 'regular' dog and not have to work. He is a real sweetheart.

It was thrilling to watch MP George Galloway speak the truth yesterday in front of that idiot Norm Coleman's Senate sub-committee. It was a breath of fresh air to hear Galloway speak up so bluntly and put them in their place. Our Senators could take a lesson on being as straightforward in their answers.

I heard a news person say something about Americans possibly not liking the dis-respectful way Galloway spoke to our U.S. Senators, but I say, respect is earned and none of the Republican neo-cons have earned that!

George Galloway took them to task and came out the winner! I raise my glass to him in respect. He is a real hero in my book.

Who the hell to trust anymore?! Certainly not the majority of the U.S. news media. I figure Newsweek was given order to put out this lame story due to fear from the White House and that group of idiots. Newsweek buckled under the pressure and has no courage.

Knowing what we know about the torture and humiliation at Guantanamo Bay, the story of flushing Koran down toilet sounds very plausible. We do know that some of the men held at the prison and released a couple years back said that the Koran was stomped on and generally desecrated. This is outright shameful and disgraceful and I firmly believe it did happen!

Over-whelmed!

I haven't written for a while because I am too over-whelmed with my anger and frustration at the Republican-controlled Congress and the complete destruction they are causing to my country.
We are living in very dangerous times and it is extremely frustrating to have to watch what you say outloud for fear of being labeled 'un-American'. Some guy was arrested recently for speaking out at an Ann Coulter college gathering...but this slime-bitch can spew all the hatred she wishes and no one says shit!
I see schools closing and nurses, fireman & police losing benefits and or jobs. Bases are closing and we have recruiters lying to young people to get them to sign up to die in an unjust war. On and on it goes...when and where it stops, no one knows.
